In relation to the above, the scene of the group returning to the island and mistaking Oolong reading a dirty magazine for Master Roshi is filler.

Upa and Bora contemplating whether or not Goku will be strong enough to ever defeat Piccolo, even if he gets a power up, is filler.

Yajirobe and Goku's arrival to the top of the Korin Tower is, uh, slightly extended, where Yajirobe's visualizing all the food, only to slip and almost fall off, you know? Yajirobe looking through a jar to see Piccolo making demands is filler.

E- especially like when you lose somebody close to you.

Because even like Oolong, like he might be the butt of the jokes in, in the episodes.

Like he's the one who makes the joke about how like apparently the Mortal Dragon or the Eternal Dragon isn't eternal 'cause he can die, you know?

Uh, and there are these funny comments, um, by, uh, by some men in the, in, in, on the, on this Instagram post expressing kind of, uh, a con- a humorous confusion of their, of their newfound attraction to Master Roshi.

Uh, one reason in particular that I love this is that within the story world, the only ways that Master Roshi is actually able to ever consummate his lust for Bulma is actually through these very elaborate forms of gender swapping, where these male shape-shifter characters, Oolong, and then later Puar, uh, actually play at being Bulma, and in that, in that form allow Master Roshi to kind of exhaust himself, and you get...

A- and, and it's really this kind of male to male form of, uh, of, of consummation.

Um, so there are many ways that women and young women have, have been policed, uh, in engaging in this fandom, uh, most vociferously I found in the writing of fan fiction, uh, that would either sexualize male characters, resituate Dragon Ball in the boys' love genre, or that would elevate and give interiority to female characters like Bulma.
