Joining in on this was Precious's adult son and then four other adults, two of which had previously been convicted of sex offenses.

Now, these many weeks of torture would sadly result in Sam's death, and his body was eventually discovered in Yates County, New York, in the early weeks of February 2025, where it had been dumped.

Now, Ontario County District Attorney James Ritz described the investigation as the worst homicide investigation his office has ever been involved with.

And not long after Sam's body was found, the arrests were made.

Sentencing for two women convicted of torturing and murdering a transgender man in New York State.

[applause] Applause in courts in Ontario County, New York, as a judge sentences Precious Arzwaga to life in prison in the kidnapping, torture, and killing of twenty-four-year-old Sam Norquist, a transgender male who traveled to New York from Minnesota in late twenty twenty-four after meeting Arzwaga online.

Co-defendant Jennifer Quiano also given life in prison, with several others still facing sentencing or trial.

Investigators believe Norquist died at a motel in Hopewell, New York, after being beaten and tortured for days.
