Onslaught

So eggs date worth checking out.

Also got to see the new film from Adam Wingard, which came out this weekend, which is called Onslaught.

And so this is a new action horror movie.

He is describing it as like a spiritual sequel to The Guest.

So, you know, hit or miss on that side.

Yeah.

And so Onslaught kind of felt like, OK, he's getting back to basics.

He's doing his thing.

you.

Onslaught.

Let's talk about this.

Onslaught.

This just came out two weekends ago, I believe.

And not doing well.

Not you.

Out of all these movies, I will say I watched every single trailer.

Hadn't really just been working and watching a bunch of movies.

Saw Hope earlier this week, and last week I saw Onslaught.

Nice, yeah.

Also a film called By Any Means, but all three of those were, you know, I thought they were real good movies.

Alright, moving on to the second movie of the review episode.

That is A24's Onslaught.

A movie that I was looking forward to.

The trailer that was played before Backrooms had me hyped up.

And that is...

I didn't even read the synopsis for Resident Evil.

But I will for Onslaught.

I do want to watch some movies this weekend.

Onslaught and what's the name? Not home.

I missed last week because I'm watching football on Wednesday night.

No, I've not watched it yet, but in preparation of it, I watched The Guest for the first time in a while because they're same universe.

Is Onslaught the second or the third? Third.

What was the first one before the guest? You're next.

It was too ambiguous, two stars.

And then against my better judgment, because I am boycotting A24, but Spencer brought up a good point, because Onslaught was definitely made and done before the Google AI deal, and I want to support my boy, Adam Wingard.

If it was any other director, I wouldn't have gone to the theater, but I really want to support Adam Wingard.

So...

It's like I was upset with myself, but I'm like, I'm here for Wingard, not A24.

Onslaught was fucking incredible.

I like seeing Wingard return to horror because it's been 10 years since he did Blair Witch.

That was his last horror movie because he's been doing the monster verse.

What else have you guys seen? Ronald, you said you saw one other film in theaters, right? I did.

I think this might've even been better, but, um, it is there, you know, there's, it's, it's just interesting cause there's clearly still like a lot of juice there.

Um, Anyway, the other one I saw, Onslaught, I got to see, the new Adam Wingard film.

Nice.
