One Shining Moment

Great, great guy.

And that's been the whole dream, to be standing on a court and hearing One Shining Moment.

And it's special, and every time it's played, it's a memory maker for sure.

And that'll be played April 5th, Paul, right there at Ford Field.

All right.

They, they want, uh, what's that, um, what's that song that CBS plays? Uh, One Shining Moment? [laughs] Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

Yeah.

[laughs] Yeah.

I kind of want to ask you what you think the scenario is, but he said, he, and he threw this in there.

There was a, somebody behind the scenes that makes phone calls at U of L, was watching One Shining Moment with their child, and Louisville, they were looking, waiting for Louisville.

Louisville didn't show up in the montage, and so that prompted them to, you know, basically go ham and was like, "That's it.

I have had enough of this," right? "And I'm gonna make my phone calls, and I want this guy." Like, he wanted Flory Vidanga.

And it's gonna be, um, a great weekend, um, for everyone, and we wanna make su- make sure that everyone's aware of that.

And Paul, One Shining Moment was written right here in the state of Michigan.

Yes.

And in East Lansing, by the way-

even though he chose to move to Ann Arbor.

These three guys right here are one shining moments in the game of college basketball.

You are, gentlemen, and we thank you, Dan Gavitt, to Kaylen Lucas, and Dave Beach now, for everything you've done to get us here, and everything you're going to do between now and April.

Mm-hmm

... you know, he's like, "I kept my, my son up late, and I showed him One Shining Moment was coming on." And he was like-

Mm-hmm

... "Yeah, we're gonna watch One Shining Moment together," and we were waiting to see Louisville, waiting to see Louisville, waiting to see Louisville, and Louisville did not appear in One Shining Moment.

Mm.

And this person was like, "This was a moment for me where I was like, we, we can't have this anymore.
