One Knoxville SC

I'm just kidding.

Boise hosting one Knoxville in the USL League One playoff quarterfinals.

37th minute is where we got a goal, and it's for Boise.

Casey,

Their only road game of the tournament this year defeated 1995 champion Richmond Kickers in Virginia.

Went on to defeat One Knoxville SC, the defending USL League One champions.

at home in the round of 16 before going back-to-back with victories over some pretty challenging MLS opposition in the quarterfinals and semifinals.

They beat Matt Freese, USMNT goalkeeper, in the quarterfinals with New York City FC 1-0 on May 20th before defeating Antoine Griezmann's Orlando City SC on September 16th in the semifinals to book their spot in the final,

So looking at Asheville City SC, amateur USL League two-side, won the John Mata Trophy as the furthest advancing amateur team in this year's competition.

They'll be honored at the 2026 Open Cup Final.

You know, in Division III, it was one Knoxville SC, the defending League One champions, who finished atop the third division group this year.

They had a memorable victory on penalties against DC United at Audi Field.

And I haven't talked about it in a little bit but, you know, one of the very first things to mind for me w- with Mikey, and, and I'm gonna come to you, Rob, and to you, Chaz, as well for maybe some- Some, some thoughts that kind of bubble to the surface, uh, when we're talking Mikey Lopez.

And for me, uh, it's the tackle last year in 2025, uh, against One Knox.

Um, so there was a, uh, a set piece, uh, that was basically, um, defended.

Um, and the One Knox, uh, got it kicked out, uh, and was coming back the other way.

Uh, and of course Mikey being a CDM was back on the midway line to defend any possible counter-attacks.

Um, and, uh, I think it was some like six to seven minutes into the match and, and Mikey Lopez was somewhere in the middle of center field, uh, center of the pitch, if you will, and, um, they were running up, uh, their attacking left-hand side, our defensive right-hand side.

In sports athletica, Boise got a huge win Saturday, 2-1 over Alta to stay in the mix for a home playoff match.

Boise has a one-point lead in the standings over Knoxville.

Their regular season is done.

Spokane, meanwhile, has two matches left and only trails Boise by two points in the standings.

And then in, uh, USL 1, Spokane, Spokane Velocity, they clinched.

They beat One Knox.

Um, so it was all go.

It was a very, very significant dis- uh, significant weekend this weekend in, in s- in, uh, playoff cl- in the playoff clinching world, as well as just Vancouver.
