One in a Million

So let's get into this episode.

So today, we're going back to August 27th, 1996, and that's when a woman by the name of Aaliyah Dana Haughton released an album that will completely change the conversation around contemporary R&B in the '90s, the late '90s.

I am going to...

I'm talking about Aaliyah's second album, "One in a Million." Yes, we're celebrating the 30th anniversary of her album.

I just cannot believe it's been 30 years since the album was released.

It's just so crazy to me.

It, like, boggles my mind.

It's just like, "Dude, I was, like, 12, yo." Living my best life in seventh grade.

Oh, yeah, yeah

... "One in a Million."

Yeah, yeah.

That's it.

Yes, you can.

What? One in a million.

Do you see how she was left out of the conversation? What's happening? I

ain't never did a top mob before.

Right.

Right? With Back and Forth and Forth.

Then she goes with Timbaland and Missy on the One in a Million album.

Then she comes with the Aaliyah album.
