One Hundred Men and a Girl

It's just pleasant.

Although honestly very scary at points, it was nominated for an Oscar for Best Score for Frank Churchill, Lee Harline, and Paul J. Smith, but it lost the Oscar to a film called 100 Men and a Girl, something I've never heard of, which goes to show how much these awards matter or don't matter.

Snow White not winning an Oscar really did not mean anything to the film's success.

Walt Disney did win an honorary Oscar the following year.

I'm gonna be so real with you.

One Hundred Men and a Girl is a much more interesting title [laughs] than My Father's Orchestra.

So sorry, man.

Look-

I support you

...

I'm just saying that it wasn't until, like, the 50-minute mark that I was like, "Why on earth is this called One Hundred Men and a Girl?"

Right.

[laughs] Perfect.

100 Men and a Girl.

100 Men and a Girl, uh, which is the return of Henry Koster directing.

As well as?

Drina Durbin? Is that her name?

... into that.

Uh, 100 Men and a Girl.

Oh, next month.

Yes.

That's definitely not true.

[laughs] Take the damn compliment, Kyle.

[groans] So the other thing that I'm grateful, uh, uh, that was birthed from this eventually, Henry Koster, the director here, um, goes on to do 100 Men and a Girl, right?

With Deanna Durbin, right.
