One of my favorite podcast episodes of all time is this interview with the late John Donahue and Krista Tippett in On Being, and he talked about the beauty of nature and how horrible it is if people are stuck in kinda concrete playgrounds and never see-

... nature, and how he grew up on the west coast of Ireland and he had so much nature.

A 2024 GLAAD Media Award Nominee for Outstanding Podcast.

Fans of On Being and Los Culturistas love this indie where LGBTQ guests share the queer books that saved their lives with the authors who wrote them.

Uh, and then it goes on from there, but I think we could even just riff on that first part there.

This is a little bit interesting.

I'm a little bit torn, because usually that first sentence is so important to continue to hook people.

Mm-hmm.

And then we've even got the second sentence is, "Fans of On Being and Los Culturistas..." And so here we've got quite a bit of text before getting to any kind of additional context or information.

Mm-hmm.

She was being interviewed by Krista Tippett for the NPR program On Being.

I think this is the prayer I was making fun of at the start of the program.

Probably up until that point, I'd never really thought about those words.

Yeah, and I still recommend to people the interview he did with Krista Tippett.

And I think the title of that talk is something about the conversational nature of reality.

Wow, I love it.
