OMON

Uh, and as you say here, they have certain instruments at their control.

They've been building ICE into a, a terrifying internal, uh, basically sort of police service, uh, militarized police service comparable to OMON, which of course is the Russian model.

Anyone familiar with that will know how awful, uh, those particular, uh, militarized police in Russia are.

Uh, it, it, it stuns me why these connections and similarities are not being drawn out and seen with, say, um, Russia's slide into authoritarianism and, uh, becoming a, a, a state essentially hooked on war.
