Omniscience

And yet, how perverted are your minds! He is the one who causes the dawn to break, and he has made the night to be a source of stillness, and the sun and the moon to run their appointed courses.

All this is laid down by the will of the Almighty, the All-Knowing, and he is the one who has set up for you the stars, so that you might be guided by them in the midst of the deep darkness of land and sea.

Clearly, indeed, have we spelled out these messages unto people of innate knowledge.

And he it is who has brought you all into being out of one living entity and has appointed for each of you a time limit on earth and a resting place after death.

I don't want my wife to know, I don't want my husband to know, my children, nobody.

So now you say, Ya Allah, where do I need to show that, Yani, I know that you are the All-Knowing.

What am I boasting about? What do I want to remind people of that I did or that I'm doing or that I want to do or what I've achieved in my life? And why do I want them to know this? That's the question.

Forgiver of sins.

Because if you bring nasty things, repulsive things, into that spiritual construct, then you will darken, you will make dark what Allah has made light for you.

So when you say that, you say, okay, what am I asking? I'm going to be able to take care of that kind of a house.

And Allah will suffice you against them, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, center of the image.

If Allah will suffice you, what prevents that soul fortress metaphor from becoming a belief that words have independent power? So in reality, you know when I do Ruqya, the biggest thing you can come with, and I don't say I come with that by the way, the biggest thing you come with is your trust in Allah.

It reminds me of a quote in a song by Beautiful Eulogy called ...

I think it's called Omniscient or Omnipotent.

And he says, "God doesn't roll His eyes, but rather He sympathizes and reminds me all of my needs have been provided."

Mm-hmm.

And so he's going to use Anthony Kennedy.

He has a chapter in the book, Omniscience, Eternity, and Time.

And Kennedy, in this particular piece, sets out in part to show why the traditional contention that God is immutable, right, unchangeable, cannot be compatible with the traditional notion of God's omniscient.

That is, he knows everything, right? In other words, he is arguing that there are basic Christian tenets that cannot rationally be held.

And to Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth.

And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.

Allah is the one who sent firmness and tranquility into the hearts of the believers, so that they would increase in faith along with the faith they already had.

To Allah alone belong the forces of the heavens and the earth, through which He supports whichever of His servants He wills, and Allah is all-knowing of what is best for His servants, all-wise in the victory and support He brings about.

And there are several words in the glorious Quran which say that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, He knows everything.

So if a believer keeps it always at the back of his mind that Allah is All-Knowing, He is All-Knowing, He knows everything.

So this will encourage an individual to always be steadfast and always see to it that He is sincere and He is devout in all of His actions.

So these are a few steps that will aid us to achieve Ikhlasan Niyah, that is the purity of intention.

Whence comes this antithesis? Assuredly, no more efficient basis for ethics can be imagined than the theological.

For who would be so bold as to oppose the will of the Almighty and the Omniscient? Unquestionably no one, if only this will were proclaimed in an authentic, official manner, if one may say so, whereby no possible room for doubt could be left.

This, however, is precisely the condition which does not admit of being realized.

It is rather the inverse process which is attempted.

Haakon will then take the oath prescribed by Article 9 of the Norwegian Constitution.

The oath reads, "I promise and swear that I will govern the Kingdom of Norway in accordance with its constitution and laws, so help me God, the Almighty and Omniscient." King Haakon will then deliver a short address.

The President of the Storting will speak in remembrance of King Harald before addressing the new king, and the ceremony will conclude with Norway's royal anthem.

For Norway, the oath is much more than a ceremonial tradition.
