didn't even know how to get a

I never felt threatened by anyone in a campsite or on national forest land.

But the absolute scariest thing that happened to me was I was in the Olympic National Forest and Google Maps.

I was trying to get from one place to the other and it said, this is the fastest route, but there are some unpaved roads.

My spidey senses went up and I thought, oh, should I do this? But then I looked at the map.

But lush, greenery, I mean, huge, towering trees.

trees like, I think, I've never been to Oregon, but I've been to, I have been to Washington State and Olympia National Forest there.

It looks like that, very much like that.

Got it.

They both agreed on what they had seen and recognized it as a Bigfoot.

In October 2018, a veteran forest ranger patrolled an isolated section of Washington's Olympic National Forest on foot to check a washed-out culvert and inspect trail signage.

The area was a steep, moss-laden drainage with heavy undergrowth and limited visibility.

The previous night's rain left the soil soft and the air saturated.

The wood strikes and hand slaps on the cedar tree were audible displays of power.

The brief forward steps across the bank showed it could close the distance if it chose.

This report stands as a straightforward description of a massive, upright, hair-covered creature at close range in the Olympic National Forest.

The combination of smell, noise, and direct display makes it one of the stronger accounts from a uniformed ranger in daylight conditions.

So we're like, okay, what can we – like we'll just do a bunch of outdoor stuff.

I met up with her in the Olympic National Forest.

We camped.

And the next day we went to Forks on the day that this book came out, that Midnight Sun came out.

Yes.

But we live not far from the Olympic National Forest in the state of Washington.

So we're outdoorsy people.

We love to hike and kayak and, you know, do all those kinds of things outdoors.

I've been to that.

I've been to the Olympic National Forest.

Very nice, but I can't say that I went to the hoe part of it.

I missed the hoes.

So my next position is...

I went to Mount Rainier National Park with a quick stint over on the Olympic National Forest.

And I got into the National Park at Mount Rainier when I was 40 years old.

So it was really fun to return to the place of my birth at a sort of landmark age, right? Got to run a couple of visitor centers over there on the east side, Ohana Pakash and Sunrise.

I was medevacked out after lying on the forest floor for six hours, 'cause we were, we were pretty remote.

This was a pretty remote site in the Olympic National Forest.

What happens? Is it something just gave way and-
