Olympic Dam

There's a lot of major projects slated for South Australia.

We Olympic Dam expansion possibly, or like probably, AUKUS nuclear submarine construction on the books as a $30 billion shipyard, $30 billion plus shipyard now being built down at Osborne, and the $15.4 billion South Road tunnels.

So there's a lot going on where skilled workers are needed and they're short.

So he argues that you need to bring in migrants to fill many of those jobs.

Well, the biggest issue that we have right now, as I mentioned, is that we haven't really found any big deposits over the last 20, 30 years.

The latest really big discovery was Olympic Dam in Australia all the way back in the 70s.

And to this day, it's still one of the biggest deposits that we've ever found.

And the problem right now seems to be that we have found all the deposits that have been easy to find at the surface.

And do those other states such as Queensland, West Australia actually have significant reserves of uranium?

So the majority of Australia's resource at the moment does sit at Olympic Dam.

But yes, Western Australia has a number of advanced projects and ours is one of them.

Queensland has some good opportunity and a couple of advanced projects.
