Talk to us about the difference in how you felt before and then being in that presence.

Mm-hmm.

So before that experience, I never had peace.

The only time I felt peace was if I was distracting myself with something, right? And even good things, right? Doing yoga, meditating, doing a spiritual practice or, you know, watching a movie, do- doing something that was, you know, giving me a dopamine hit, you know, distracting me from how I felt inside.

I would have this...

It wasn't real peace, but I would get relief, I would say, from doing something.

But after I came out of that encounter, I felt peace for the first time in my life.

When you look back on the messages and the guidance that you were receiving from, you know, your spirit team at that time, and, and, and you look back on it now and you see that it was deceptive, what do you think they were trying to deceive you of? And, and what kind of-- you know, if you once thought it was wisdom, but now you look at it as something else, like, what, what were they up to? What were they trying to do, from your perspective now?

So I'd love for you, as we get started, to just share a little bit about your background before we get into your full testimony.

Yeah, absolutely.

So growing up, the only real exposure I had to any type of, I would say, religion or spirituality, it was actually my family was involved with a Bible-based cult.

And so no real Jesus there, no Holy Spirit there.

And it wasn't like I was in the church all the time or anything.

It was more like here and there I'd go with a family member.

But I was always drawn to the things of the Spirit.

And so eventually there was this gentle kind of peeling away or was your continued walk, like when did you get the full revelation that, oh my, all of these things I've been doing were not the right path?

What kind of traumatic experiences did you occur, you know, th- occurred a- as, you know, as a young child to, you know, to, to get you there? Because you and I have, have spoken a little bit.

Yeah, yeah.

So I, I had experienced a few different, um, ab- abuse encounters throughout my life.

And, you know, for, for those of us who are versed in any type of deliverance ministry or, uh, even just trauma work or inner healing, you know, from the Christian perspective, we can really see that demons love trauma.They are, they are always looking for an open door to, to come in to kinda get a foothold in there.

And then it really, when we experience trauma, especially, you know, in our, our younger years, it's the perfect way for the enemy to warp our perception of God.

Yes, God.
