So what initially drew you to romance as a writer? Because clearly you were a fan of the word, but why write it?

I think in part because it was what I loved most and what I knew best.

I mean, it's the genre that sort of raised me in a lot of ways.

It's the genre that I had always loved best.

And so when I first started writing, it was, without any intent of doing anything with it, but it made sense, I think for me to, to write in within the bounds of something that I already knew inside and out over the course of, you know, I started reading romance when I was probably, I was far too young.

My mother's like seventies and early eighties romances, which were, which were interesting.

And I read those from the time I was probably six or seven.

And it's just they're very real and very relatable when you're reading those types of characters because whether you're thin fat like or in between like those insecurities are there and like to read about a character who is the same is very nice a lot of the times
