And like, there's not a single side in the world.

There's a reason we all know people like Peter Schmeichel and Oliver Kahn and Buffon and whatever, because they make great saves.

And these are like, these played in great teams that won everything.

Kassias and, and, And you picture them making saves because even great teams, keepers have to make saves is the point I'm making, you know.

Very defensive, counter-attacking football.

And that was sort of still perceived as the best way forward because everyone deep down knew we couldn't go head-to-head or toe-to-toe with the better sides.

We could only kind of drag them down to our level, and that's how our Germany were expected to play.

But yeah, was, was not a great Germany side.

Even though they made it to the final, I would still say the football was pretty dire.

The biggest dissonance, I think, is that obviously Oliver Kahn was probably Germany's best player at that World Cup, and he was terrible in this game.

And basically because the goalkeeper was the most important player, he said what had happened was Germany had not changed their policy at all.

Did I ever back Teosio Lasagna to score that one-on-one? Absolutely not.

It reminded me of Darren Mackey through against Oliver Kahn at the Allianz, where he thought, just go around him.

But yeah, Teosio Lasagna chose the wrong option.

And I mean, yeah, he's a bit unlucky with the way the shot comes off the keeper's head, but...

well that's again i do make reference to that's what my feeling was at half time about 10 minutes later i was uh yeah very excited about what what we might potentially see and it might just be a case of stephen robinson figuring out the best way to play him he maybe does have some of the attributes that could work well out wide but um you know it might be that know we get more out of them as part of a front two you know robinson will be learning about this squad as well i mean that's inevitable given the the amount of change that there's been um but no and tello uh certainly caught the caught the eye with that turn finish uh just the confidence with which he unleashed it uh oh lasagna yeah i mean he really should have done better with that chance in the first half, and he wasn't up against Oliver Kahn, he was up against the boy Goodman for Dundee, so yeah, we'll not give him too much credit there, but no, he started to cause nuisance as the game went on, which is kind of the main strength that I feel he brings to us, and the main threat that he poses opposing defenders, and And Kevin Nisbet, again, really quiet in the first half, but the way that he took both of his goals just underlined the confidence that he's playing with.

And that's a man that's now on nine for the season.

Yeah.

And, and he was having his best season.

He was playing for Karlsruhe.
