There's a tradition of like hajimete no otsukai, which is sending a young child out on their first independent errand because the idea is that in Japanese culture and parenting, it's like building like self-reliance and confidence for the child, even though they're like two to five years old, they're going like, walking a mile down the street to get groceries.

And I think that's a really cool premise and not something obviously that we do in the US, but I relate to that of just like, I think I have built a lot of my confidence and love for the adventure through the self-reliance of going out and like figuring it out and being able to push through.
