Old Brown Shoe

E- Paul can't even play a shuffle.

Yeah, Old Brown Shoe was not Paul.

No. Paul McCartney is the most Paul McCartney drummer I've ever heard in my life.

This is a man who has been playing the drums for 70 years and never got better.

George, however, can play rhythm guitar as well as all of them.

Sitar.

Sitar, the best lead guitarist in the group, one of the best bass players around, like, so much so that people for a long time thought it was Paul playing bass on Old Brown Shoe.

Turns out it was George.

In 1968, because of his low royalty allocations under Northern Songs, the publishing company, George Harrison decided to open up his own publishing company called SingSong Limited.

The only published song that SingSong Limited actually did was the Beatles composition Old Brown Shoe.

It was then consolidated into its bigger company called Harrisongs Limited.

In 1969, recording sessions officially started for the rock opera soundtrack for Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
