We're going to talk a little bit about this article in the New York Post about Glenn Dubin and the subpoena from the Virgin Islands.

Now, we were way ahead of the curve here, right? OK Magazine and Chris Spargo talked about this a couple of weeks ago.

And like I've said, Chris Spargo over at OK Magazine has been all over this.

And they've done a fantastic job with the news that's coming out of the Virgin Islands.

And Chris especially deserves a tip of the cap, no doubt about it.

Him, Kate Bricklett, those are two of the journalists that have been covering this case that really stand out to me, that have done a fantastic job.

It's pretty telling that OK Magazine and Chris Spargo are so ahead of the curve when it comes to this subpoena situation.

I have been in the celebrity business for a really long time, and one of the reasons, in the old days, what, 10 years ago, they don't do it anymore 'cause of social media, but they used to sell images of their babies.

Remember when you always got to see a baby on the cover of OK Magazine or People Magazine, and they were sold for millions and millions of dollars? Some people thought that was sheer greed.

I've been involved in at least five, six, seven of those deals, bidding on baby pictures.

Yes, there's an enormous amount of money there.

We're letting you in on secrets here, Mark.

When you were at Us Weekly, and I was at OK Magazine, if you said someone was erratic, that means they were on drugs.

Mm-hmm.

That's, if you said someone was tricky, that means they were awful.

Like, no matter where you look, you're gonna find a picture of Ashton Kutcher and Diddy.

According to OK Magazine, they have been friends since the early 2000s.

Both Ashton and Brittany were frequent partiers at Diddy's parties.

And actually, Ashton left Brittany for Demi Moore, and Demi Moore was also a very frequent partier at Diddy's parties.

And Emma?

Emma Guns was working on OK Magazine.

Right, so they came after you.

And they both pivoted brilliantly.

That's massive,

isn't it?

Emma was a showbiz reporter for OK Magazine and was one of the first podcasters in the UK in terms of female podcasters that were successful and did things other than beauty, you know.

And Sally obviously still writes for The Guardian, but a lot of that came from being on Twitter and telling The Guardian that she could do better.

And you felt like a perv because most of the time towards the end, it was reality stars that I was interviewing.

And if I was doing like for OK Magazine or the Daily Star or something like that, you'd have to go in with... um kind of some of the saucy questions he just felt like a perv just asking like 25 year old love islanders when you're almost all their age about their sex lives

and yeah i mean the industry's changed a lot as well hasn't it it's been hollowed out um you know if this was 25 years ago you'd be working for vanity fair or vogue right and you'd be on an expense account and you'd be doing proper articles and proper journalism
