So he's gonna think, well, how is this race going to develop, like, because we have Devil's Advocate, who's a pacemaker, um, and is gonna be somewhat ignored.

But I, I, I thi- I feel everything else will be held up, because it hasn't worked for Constitution River.

... to have Christophe and, and Oisin riding at the top of their game was, you know, was a massive advantage to the horses.

So, um, lots, lots of, lots of, lots of hands, um, involved in that weekend.

And, and yeah, you don't really realize how prestigious the meeting is until you kind of, you're in the middle of it, if I'm being honest.

Just going back to the Arc very briefly.

Um, I mean, when, when the draw finally was revealed and you were given stall 15, you must have been wanting to hit a wall, um, because that's effectively a nightmare draw.

And yet Christophe Soumillon in 16 on Diamond Necklace, Oisin Murphy on your horse, Bay City Roller, in 15, both performed brilliantly.

Also be talking to Ed Crispe who's about to trade these shores for Dubai, building up a very strong stable there.

In the news yesterday was that he'd secured Oisin Murphy as his retained jockey, uh, for the Middle East during the course of the winter.

Another string to Oisin's bow no doubt, even though he hands over the baton of champion jockey to Billy Loughnane at, uh, at, at the end of this week.

And as Loughnane, uh, has his beady eye on all sorts of weird and wonderful records, McCoy's, and Sir Gordon Richards, and goodness knows, uh, who else, a- another man who is already well on his way, I think, to getting past Martin Pipe's record in a season is Dan Skelton.

And then there are others as well that are sort of hi-highly rated.

But, you know, we, we, we've, you know, Sheikh Ahmed sent a really, really nice bunch of horses and, you know, I'm very grateful for that and, you know, it's given us every chance for a good year.

A-and then obviously the signing of Oisin Murphy as the stable jockey of the season is a, is a fantastic one.

What's his availability likely to be and, and until when?

I mean, think in, in every stakes, you know.

I mean, I think even Oisin Murphy was going to credit him with great season that he's had, um, and the fact that he started off with Boekho.

You know, he, he had all the, he had the really good h- quality horse to get him into the headlines in the first place.

And then he really got, you know, he's gonna get, uh, make a good success out of that anyway, and then he got stuck into the, the title, and he's, uh, accumulated all the wins, so it's a very deserve it.
