Yeah, guys, I don't know if you caught this yesterday.

Huge news in the OAC, the Heidelberg University Student Princes from Tiffin, Ohio.

They went on the road to Alliance.

They pulled off a 37-34 win over Mount Union, the D3 powerhouse.

But Yo Adrian beat Ohio Northern by a touchdown.

It's a pretty good OAC team.

I don't know.

I think I'll go with Mount St. Joe's.

We're going to learn from our mistakes.

And we'll be ready for the OAC.

And sure, plenty of them right now.

But in the end, isn't Mountain Union still going to run the table in the OAC?

I mean, that's going to be my position until somebody in the OAC actually wins a game against Mount Union.

Marietta, Ohio Northern kicking off OAC play.

Marietta looked pretty good.

Ohio Northern did not.

American Rivers Conference and the OAC have sponsored the proposal for 5 for 5 age-based model.

So we are looking at it in 2027, January.

So it's going to be the talking point at the convention this January.

Denison, with four top 40 games, Hope being added to their list, as you can see there, as non-conference.

And then you go down and see Mount Union at number 65 nationally, Wheaton and Grove City, and then really the OAC play, because John Carroll's no longer in there, has kind of changed the game when you look at this stuff, JB.

But, you know, our next guest comes from a school that... unfortunately, does not get much love in strength of schedule.

This is the HCAC conundrum.

You know, you've got a tough hope team out of conference as well.

You guys are not hiding from anybody, that is for sure, in terms of you've got four non-conference games to schedule.

You've got an OAC team, an MIAA team.

Maryville who's SAA I think these days if memory serves and we lose track of these teams and center obviously down in the south as well so a very diverse schedule for you guys with a lot of challenges for sure again you know is that by design is that something you guys are savoring and does that help you in the HCAC schedule that's mainly later on in the season except for the Mount St. Joe's game on 10-3?

I, I liked what Patzka said there a lot.

Um, and I, I know for us, um, a lot of the conversations, particularly heading into the regional meet, which obviously h- has, you know, a say in who gets to go to nationals, was, um, you know, regionals is after conference, and um, I was coaching at Ohio Northern, which is in the OAC, and I'm sure all conference meets are like this, where there's a lot of emotion that goes into it.

It's most everybody's last meet, so most of the team is gonna be on break after this, and you're only, you know, training 7 to 10 athletes that go on.

So carrying the mom- momentum after a really emotional conference meet and trying to replicate that into regionals is kind of where we would direct a lot of our attention, and I would say that's, you know, that's true in my own running career too.
