Ogbo Okoronkwo

Um, but they just have enough players, and they're getting by with enough.

Like, Ogbo Okoronkwo is out here rushing the passer.

Uh, just they're kind of hitting all the right buttons right now.

Bosa's quote to us, just a small group of us on Friday, was that he's definitely playing week seven in Atlanta and that he felt really good about his chances of playing Monday.

um against washington as well so that may change if if we see him out there on thursday um it was interesting that you know the straight green law suspension means they have an extra roster spot and what they did with it is they moved obo okoronkwo back up from the practice squad to the active roster remember he had been on the active roster um and then last week they did some shuffling and moved him down even though they activated him for the game they have a lot of defensive ends now on the roster seems to be that they're at least preparing for another game without Nick Bosa on it

I just react to that because when they cut Okoronkwo, I'm like, what are they doing? Because I know they plan to play him.

I was like, what is this? And they had the roster flexibility to do some moves.

So that's the quickest cut and return that I can remember in a while, but it was always going to be that.

And he signs to the practice squad.

Now, the 49ers also announced a little bit of an interesting move, was Ogbo Okoronkwo went to the active roster.

They did not make a corresponding move, so I don't know exactly what is going on paperwork-wise.

they had just released last week.

That's good news for the 49ers.

Those are some players they desperately need.

And they bring up Ogbo Okoronkwo to the active roster.

We're talking Romello Height.

But like Keon White was winning at a crazy rate, crazy clip.

Obviously Grayson Holden flashed a bunch, but even like Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, like he's been pretty consistent at pressuring the quarterback and I think-

With Dre Greenlaw suspended, the 49ers have... an open roster spot this week, and they used that 53-man roster spot on Ogbo Okoronkwo, the edge rusher who had been demoted to the practice squad.

Now he's promoted to the 53-man roster.

He didn't miss the game because they just elevated him from the practice squad, but now He is one of the, I believe, 12 49ers defensive linemen on the 53-man roster.

Uh, you gotta talk about...

I mean, c- can we give, uh, uh, Ogbo Okoronkwo a round of applause? He made...

He was promoted to the active roster.

... except Mykel fit in perfectly to the ethos that they're espousing right now.

I think it's okay 'cause you just get rid of Ogbo's snaps, and he's been pretty terrible.

Uh, and so what they did is they used that roster spot on Ogbo Okoronkwo, who was just on the 53 earlier.

He gets dropped once Mike Kell came back, and now he's back on the 53.

I bet when Greenlaw's back, uh, Ogbo probably goes back down to the practice squad.
