Offinso Municipal District

I think I'm being too technical, but once that cable was down, all customers will be affected as well.

So customers around, uh, Nkwanta, Abrepore, Suame, um, Asubonte, Oshiem, Kwadaso, Tanoso, Ewakuwa, Atre, Santase, uh, Kodie, Ainkro, Denase, Erujama, Adankwame, Mankranso, Offinso, Barekefe itself, those places were affected during that period.

An underground cable fault, I think it happened at, uh, almost towards 6:00 PM.

So once that underground cable fault happened, in fact our team went to site early, and then further for the test runs around, the fault was identified.

They waited for the morning team to join us so that at least the cable can be repaired so it can restore power supply to our customers.

The second challenge that happened at the Ridge, uh, box supply point had to do with, uh, what we call a jumper cut on one of the sub-transmission lines from the Ridge VSP to the Adwato substation.

Once that line is off, a lot of customers within our Suame, Offinso, and Ewakuwa districts are affected.

But then once that line-- It was only one portion of the line that wa-was affected.

... that I'll make the details available to you.

There's a woman in, uh, Offinso where I used to be.

Uh, she says that her daughter Has been trapped.

She was arrested and then her kids have been taken away from her.
