Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe

For like eight years now, I've had a recording where he and I talk about all the new mutants, including magic.

It's supposed to be on the Marvel Handbook podcast.

I swear if I don't die before then, I will eventually get that material out.

The idea of combining all those and stripping everything else, it's like, it'd be interesting, right? Because then you would want to be the master of your own destiny in that case, right? Do you then say, well, I mean, if we're going to get into it, do you then say, okay, these computer generated images of New Genesis and Apocalypse are lame, so we're not including those? That's not really what you wanted either, right? You because there's no real write up on those, right? You just want the ones where it's like Orion dog of war, right? That's where you would start if you were collecting the entries from this issue.

What's interesting with the secret files? I always preferred Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe growing up.

That was the one that I bought.

I bought an issue of Who's Who growing up.

That said, though, I think that Who's Who is the more dynamic presentation.

And as much as I prefer to Ohatmu as somebody who's tried to produce an Ohatmu podcast and is somebody who's doing their best to rip off a Who's Who podcast, it's a lot more interesting to look at these images and talk about the elements of these images because it's not just a dude standing there every time.

But because they're borrowing so heavily from Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, it's a lot more like Ohatmu.

Ohatmu there's a lot more figures they just happen to have a background where Ohatmu was just a blank white space and they are a little bit more succinct than Ohatmu thankfully but they're not as easy flowing and essential kernels as who's who was so it is a weird and somewhat unwieldy hybrid and I don't envy the artist having to draw everything as a narrow vertical you They just have no choice in this.
