Odyssey of the Seas

And it occurred Friday.

They, the Royal Caribbean Cruise's ship, Odyssey of the Seas, was sailing southwest and was going through the Greek isles, and a Salvadorian woman told her rescuers she jumped because she wanted to disembark, and they were like, "Be where? Where are you gonna disembark at? Girl, this is the ocean.

What's around you? Water.

What's in the water? Sharks."

I just prefer the bargain to survive contact with the calculator.

A passenger from Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas has been rescued after reportedly spending approximately 20 hours in the water.

Fox 13, citing the Hellenic Coast Guard and reporting from USA Today, says the 44-year-old woman was found with a life buoy following an overboard incident in the Ionian Sea near Zakynthos, Greece.

This is follow-up coverage of an earlier incident rather than an overboard occurring this morning.

Oh, okay, technically it's a woman overboard story, but the outcome is the same.

A 44-year-old woman from El Salvador was a passenger on Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas when she went overboard as the ship was sailing between Mykonos and Italy.

The ship conducted a search of the area for approximately 12 hours, but when that proved fruitless, they continued on their way.

At that point, you know, you have to assume that the woman was probably presumed dead.

I think they knew she fell over or went over or whatever.

She's 44 years old, Salvadorian national, traveling aboard Odyssey of the Seas.

as it sailed through the same place I was, by the way.

I went through here.

I think, yes, I think they knew she fell over or went over or whatever.

She's 44 years old, Salvadorian national, traveling aboard Odyssey of the Seas, as it sailed through the same place I was, by the way.

I went through here.

How do you say it? I-O-N-I-A-N-C?

That had Don Johnson as, like, the-

[laughs] Oh, Dr. O- Odyssey?

Doc- yeah, something.

Is that what it was called?

... are in need of, like, triple bypass.

Yeah, everybody was having ... [laughs] That's right.

Everybody was having cardiac events on Dr. Odyssey.

Yeah.

... and they didn't know?

The 44-year-old Salvadoran national was traveling aboard the Odyssey of the Seas as it sailed through the Ionian, uh, Sea near the island...

It's in Gree- in Greece.

The cargo ship was assisting in the search and spotted the woman in a bright orange life buoy in the dark.
