Activamente no, porque yo me salí para enfrentar la injusticia que hicieron conmigo, que se demostró.

Yo soy posiblemente la persona más limpia que hay en la política dominicana, porque a nadie han investigado más que a mí.

O sea, yo me encontré unos enemigos que decidieron destruirme a mí y a Félix, porque es verdad, y al mismo Leonel.

Porque yo digo, como nosotros lo pusimos, ellos pensaban que lo podíamos quitar y decidieron destruirnos a Leonel con todo lo, lo que le hicieron a Félix, que lo acusaron a mí después como Odebrecht, porque no me pudieron acusar antes y esa acusación es una vergüenza y, y está sesgada totalmente.

Nada más con, con el sesgo que tiene esa acusación ya estaba invalidada, como dijo Miriam Germán.

Just for our viewers too, I want to point out that President Fujimori has been caught up in some of this.

She was accused of receiving these illegal funds from Odebrecht, this Brazilian law firm that's been embroiled with some of Latin America's biggest graft scandals, right? And it seems to be kind of pervasive.

And congratulations to you as being the only of one of the nine presidents in the last 10 years who's not been accused of any of this kind of

activity.

Mm.

Odebrecht, Petrobras, et cetera, right? And, uh, uh, that's very close to them.

And, and doesn't matter how it end up, but the companies were, you know, they did suffer a lot.

You don't wanna be there.

And that is the road to nine presidents in 10 years.

The Brazilian construction giant, Odebrecht, admitted to paying hundreds of millions in bribes to officials across Latin America.

And in Peru, it touched practically everyone who held the office.

Which brings me to one of the most extraordinary places in the country, Barbadillo.

It's a special prison on a police base east of Lima, built essentially for one demographic, former presidents of Peru.

And right now, its wings are full.

Alejandro Toledo, convicted of taking tens of millions in Odebrecht bribes, he was sentenced to more than 20 years.

And Alonso Humala, 15 years for laundering illicit campaign money.
