This is being developed by, and I'm apologies if i get your name wrong i don't really know how to pronounce it but it's um zix fixium uh x fixium um yeah sorry i don't really know how to pronounce your name but um yeah really cool work um this is coming on so nicely especially like the animated intro and stuff um there is no music on the animated intro yet but it's looking really good so yeah um keep an eye on this one as well everybody because um it's coming up really well Next up we have another port, one which I didn't really expect at all, and this is, if video listeners can guess, it's Oddworld, Abe's Odyssey, which was originally a PlayStation 1 exclusive, and yeah, it's being ported to the Saturn, and this video shows off the full FMV that the Saturn can do.

It's looking really good, so I'll skip forward to some gameplay quickly.

In Oddworld, Abe's Exodus and Abe's Odyssey, there's the in-game adverts for the product that's being made out of his race.

During development, they signed an exclusive deal with Sony, and SCE, which is Sony Computer Entertainment, were on the lookout for a signature mascot, because Nintendo had Mario and Sega, of course, had Sonic.

The original mascots of SCE were Abe, Oddworld, and Crash, Crash Bandicoot.

Yeah, that was a big thing.

Even though they were being phased out, they needed somebody who would be recognizable and synonymous with the console.

In this movie, though, he does look like those aliens from Oddworld.

In fact, while you were talking, I quickly googled, does Oddworld actually cite bad taste as anything? Because they've got very sort of, they're skin-coloured, but the Gluckens in Oddworld...

They have a similar sort of corporate pinstripe suit look, but horrible alien.

And the fact that, you know, people are getting turned into food, into mush, is also similar.
