Any other notes on that scene, dude? So I wrote here, Oddbins was an off-license in the UK that no longer exists as of 2023, which is pretty recent.

But it had been around since 1963.

Looking it up online, it seems it's kind of like a sad times as a big name on the original UK high streets.

I did that at Oddbins for wine.

The other one possibly was back in the day of Oddbins, was arriving on a Saturday morning and literally knowing you kind of got all your details, got your stuff, go straight to the Oddbins Fair at Park Lane, at the Park Lane Hotel in the ballroom, meet all your old friends from last year, have a chat, get busy, work all day, go out and have a big party that night.

And then Which hotel was I booked in? Oh gosh, I can't remember.

And my kit is all locked in the parkland ballroom.

I said, of course I know how to do that.

That's easy.

Why didn't you say so? And so we set about making Petty Shannon for Steve Dangle, for Oddbins.

And the idea of this was our little wine, but with a concept that Everybody wants an everyday wine that you can trust and rely on.
