one energy uh but it's only a stage one um and you can also slap the lux cape that i've got on in this deck so you can kind of make him like an unkillable tank with um things like your max potion and uh you know energy retrieval uh to just kind of like loop that over and over again towards the end so you've got like an end game loop there to just stay alive um and then uh Yeah, we've got the sand slash here.

So normally, yeah, Octillery is normally the guy, you know, some people play in Swampert.

This is just a card that's like when you're playing control and it's just you're buying so many turns, you're kind of growing your hand to a massive size.

So Slush Rush is kind of nice, not necessarily in the early game, definitely missed Octillery in the early game.

when I needed to just like get going and fill my hand.

But once you get like seven, eight cards in your hand, you're like, oh, thank goodness.

Would it get another typing? I have no idea.

Uh, but I think this is really, really cool, and it would be nice to also have, in Generation 10, like some new evolutions.

Uh, like I always appreciate when an evolution or when, like something new, a new design, a new Pokémon almost calls back or even gives a little bit more evidence for a classic theory.

The connection between Cubone and, and Kangaskhan is what I'm thinking about.

...'cause we know, we-

... we do know that, uh, they removed certain evolutions from Pokémon because they like, like with Gorochu for instance.

Octillery, Carvana, or Mantine?

You're getting some of those mega Pokemon EX, right? Mega Pokemon EX in the format, mixing it up with your new Pokemon GX.

So to me, this is a really cool blend of like the best that the XY has to offer, right? You've got Octillery in this world's winning list.

with its abyssal hand you've got galade uh as well from breakthrough but then you've also got the new age the pokemon gx and so i've i've got a lot of fond memories of this format i mean hex maniac is such a cool card as well i was saying before how much i love ability lock and how it interacts with formats i think it's very important to have some of that um i think that you know historically you know pokemon doesn't have hand traps right i mean there was a time where they tried that out But I don't think hand traps are necessarily very good for the identity of the Pokemon TCG.

But I do think that ability lock is very important for the identity of the Pokemon TCG.
