David RobinsonHOST
Okay.
David RobinsonHOST
Orm, O-R-M, is his brother, Orm.
David RobinsonHOST
Orm, okay.
David RobinsonHOST
Yeah, that's Ocean Master.
CJHOST
Busting her out of jail, brings her to this place.
CJHOST
And so he is saying that Ocean Master is war.
CJHOST
Queen Bee is pestilence.
CJHOST
I don't know who this guy is.
CJHOST
Nuclear bomb.
CJHOST
Bees that have got some weird poison that's killing everybody.
CJHOST
And then Ocean Master is bringing all of Atlantis' technology and war machines to the surface.
CJHOST
And they're like, there's only two of us.
Peter R. VerraGUEST
... she's a Justice League villain.
Ryan LowerHOST
Ocean Master, obviously we, I think all of us here listening even would know who that is.
Ryan LowerHOST
Uh, I just thought that this was a fun book, and, uh-
Peter R. VerraGUEST
Mm-hmm
Phil PerichHOST
Batman is working on his plan.
Phil PerichHOST
Aquaman recognized Ocean Master's mind as part of the revenge squad, and by following the money, Batman has found the team led by Lex Luthor, who is using classic corporate tactics.
Phil PerichHOST
However, someone else knows these tactics too, Bruce Wayne, who is already developing a counter plan.

Lilith HellfireHOST
Shout out to Scotland.
Lilith HellfireHOST
Shout out to Scotland.
Phil PerichHOST
On the satellite, the Joker is trying practical jokes on the sleeping alien when Ocean Master finds another Joker tied behind the hydroponics generators.
Phil PerichHOST
Smoked a little doobie.
Ian LevensteinHOST
Yep, on the artwork there as well.
Ian LevensteinHOST
As Ra's al Ghul is put into play, his four horsemen of the apocalypse, Poison Ivy, Tokamak, Ocean Master, and Queen Bee.
Ian LevensteinHOST
And only Superman and Batman are left to defend every life on Earth from extinction as famine, war, pestilence, and death sweep the globe.
Ian LevensteinHOST
Wow, what an apocalyptic book this seems to be here on Batman, Superman, World's Finest, number 57.
AnneHOST
Um-
DallasHOST
When him and Ocean Master were standing there and he was like, "No survivors, Ocean Master," and Ocean Ma- I was like, "These brothers have never been closer."
AnneHOST
[laughs]
DallasHOST
First off, Flashpoint, bringing families together.
7 MINS LATER
DallasHOST
That, that is basically exactly how my brother looks.
AlexisHOST
[laughs]
DallasHOST
Um, who else did I care for? I like that Ocean Master in the background, Evil Corp busier Ocean Master.
DallasHOST
I'm always-
JimHOST
Zan's fine.
JimHOST
There's some funny characters in this, but you end up Ocean Master shows up, and Ocean Master's the-
MattHOST
I think Ocean Master looks really cool.
JimHOST
Yeah.
JimHOST
When he comes up on that crazy dragon thing that's-
MattHOST
Yeah
JimHOST
... is really cool, like a kraken, but he's like, "I'm the Ocean Master, I'm gonna take you down." And yeah, you end up where Zan's trying to save Andy, and then eventually Jackson does come up.
JimHOST
'Cause they did say, "Hey, Jackson, you gotta get up there and help out and, and watch Andy while we do other things." That's interesting.
JaceHOST
i love this art i it feels so different than when uh gutierrez is is inking himself uh so again you know subjective you may prefer the more textured style i prefer this cleaner style i really enjoyed this and as far as the story itself i like the idea of poison ivy and raz al ghul teaming up um and this idea of the four horsemen of the apocalypse which is an idea that has been you know in comics so many times most notably over on the other side of the street at Marvel with the X-Men villain Apocalypse who's had four horsemen, including Warren Worthington, the angel, as his horseman of death at one point.
JaceHOST
But I love the idea that they're taking known characters like Ocean Master and Queen Bee and – And Poison Ivy, you know, and I wasn't really familiar with the Tokamak guy.
JaceHOST
Yeah.
JaceHOST
Anyway.
RockyHOST
Poison Ivy being, you know, against Echo Terrorism, her, she seems like a natural fit for the classic Razzle Goal.
RockyHOST
So this almost writes itself.
RockyHOST
And so good that Mark Waid's combining Ocean Master.
RockyHOST
I can see Ocean Master being part of this team.
RockyHOST
I mean, the whole, all of them, it's the Crimson Queen that basically emerges from the shadows with a single purpose, to unite all the enemies.
RockyHOST
So you got Black Manta, Ocean Master, the Scavenger, Siren, and...
RockyHOST
Yeah, and Fisherman.
RockyHOST
And yeah, so this entire issue is just one long series of action sequences, which are pretty epic.
JaceHOST
And I mean whether it be like Robot Chicken or even the Zack Snyder Justice League movies where he's this guy that talks to fish or whatever.
JaceHOST
But he doesn't get the credit he deserves because as you mentioned, all these different villains, Crimson Queen obviously being a new villain for him and you could make the argument that she's really a villain for Meera.
JaceHOST
But you're talking about Black Manta, the eel, the fisherman, Ocean Master, Tiamat, all these different rogues gallery of villains that Aquaman has.
JaceHOST
None that have ever been able to defeat him and even before he had the power of the blue.
George RogersHOST
We're not doing that.
George RogersHOST
Like, why are you dumb? Why are you dumb? But in a post credit scene, an Atlantean ship emerged from the ocean and ocean master is carrying the dead body of his King.
George RogersHOST
And he's ready to wage war on the surface trailers because it's their fault.
George RogersHOST
And he is going to, and he is inciting an act of war on the land lovers.
7 MINS LATER
Dean HolzapfelHOST
Um, no, it's carry else, bro.
Dean HolzapfelHOST
And Star Wars fans will know him because he voiced Anakin on The Clone Wars.
Dean HolzapfelHOST
You have Sam Whitmer as Ocean Master.
George RogersHOST
Sam Whitmer.
