Said, "I had to piss," and I was like, "Oh, fuck, you know, I could use some Guinness." So I would go over there.

So technically Oakland already has a league game.

And McClymonds, well, they went up against Oakland Tech last week.

Um, that game was played on a Saturday afternoon.

Um, I believe that game was played at Laney College, if I recall correctly.

And at one point there was no score at the half.

No one scored, and I was, like, wondering, I'm like, "Huh, well, Oakland Tech is hanging tough with them." And then Mac literally said, "Okay, that's enough of you." And McClymonds, they ended up b- beating Oakland Tech 30 to 14.

Mac, year after year after year, they got some special playmakers.

Yeah.

That's a huge move up.

And then moving from the lake to Maxwell Park, like, right? That's sort of, that's already telling you about sort of the ambitions of Chinese Americans after World War II and the slow desegregation that's happening in Oakland at that particular point, right? From, moving from Oakland Tech, like, he was a Oakland Tech grad to, to now, like, having a house in Maxwell Park because he's got a solid union job in the Navy Yard in Richmond.

Nice.

Yeah.

So the student directors on the board have been giving updates at each board meeting about how this is going.

Student director Amina Tongun, a senior at Oakland Tech, said she's also noticed more socializing between students and higher engagement in class.

But she also said that students felt blindsided and left out of conversations about how the ban would be carried out.

Hmm.

Um, but moving on.

Castro Valley at number 10, they defeated Oakland Tech.
