1 Thessalonians tells us to test everything and hold fast to what is good.

So what does that actually mean in practice? How should we think about that verse, those verses? Josh Brown from Belfield Presbyterian Church in Oakland is going to join me to hash through that.

Also, big news from Anthropic that I'll talk about in just a minute.

Again, back to how connected Pittsburgh is.

My in-laws lived in Oakland, South Oakland, walking distance to the Forbes Field.

At one point, Willie Stargell and Don Clendenning lived right around the corner.

My brother-in-law, Dan Marino, used to play catch as a boy with Willie Stargell in the street.

But I watch the game and I don't think Paul's tired after five.

And I've gotten to know him a little bit because he loves doing good stuff for the charity people, the military people, and I've helped him on a couple of projects.

But I told him I took a thank you letter from the Oakland Veterans.

It's a wonderful organization in Oakland.

And if you are looking for other food and maybe, you know, turkey is not your thing, you are in luck because PETA's Free the Chicken Truck, which I guess has been making a national tour, they are in Pittsburgh.

They're giving away free vegan chicken in Oakland at Forbes and Atwood now through Monday.

I guess they're going to be parked near Lane's, which very subtle, Lane's Chicken Joint or whatever their official name is.

So yeah, if you want some free vegan chicken there.

A land that is sheltered, a land that has more flock cameras than anywhere else in Pittsburgh.

He signs in.

He tells the son that he's sorry that his father had died, and he learns that his father had lived on Dawson Street in Oakland, not far from Forbes Field or Pitt Stadium.

And, uh, he had died at the VA Hospital in Oakland.

It was very familiar to Art Rooney because in addition to going to so many funerals, he also paid many visits to friends that were in hospitals in the community.

So he's back there talking to Joe McNamara.

And Art Rooney kinda shrugs it off and he says to him, he says, "Hey, listen," he said, "You fellas, don't forget to go to the back room and pay your respects to our friend McNamara." And Forster shoots a look at Flaherty to see if he knows the McNamara that Art Rooney's referring to.

He gets a blank look.

And, uh, Forster says, "I don't know any fireman named McNamara." And Rooney rather testily, [laughs] he was a little upset with him, says, "Yes, you do, the one from Dawson Street out in Oakland." So Forster and Flaherty look at each other, and they sort of gave a look like they knew what Mr.

Right.

And like, if you're talking about a place, for example, in like Oakland, that's catering largely to young people, then the indigestion part may not actually, it may not affect them at all.

The iron stomach.

And I mean, and that's the thing, right? It's like late night is often, even historically, the pursuit of the youth.

With occasional, you know, more mature people, everyone's just being like, let's keep it going.

Yeah.

So if you look at where, like it's largely Oakland and the South Side that have places that are open past midnight that you can actually sit and like hang out in or get food to go.

And I think also the idea that these businesses also can augment some of their financial risk with third party app deliveries.

His daughter goes to Pitt.

I was dropping some stuff off for her in Oakland.

I'm listening to you on the car radio on the drive out there, and Rutherford goes, "Yeah, I should've gone to Vancouver.

My career should've ended in Pittsburgh." [laughs]
