Oak of Mamre

All right, where do we start? We start, anyone who's familiar with this Parsha knows, that we start at Petacha Oho, right? That's where we start the whole Parsha.

First of all, we're at the Oaks of Mamre.

Here we go.

God made God's self visible to him.

At the Oaks of Mamre.

So this must be a famous place.

Some people want to say it was a cult site, but this is clearly a famous place because you don't just say the Oaks at Mamre.

And plowed there on the name of the Lord, the everlasting God.

Now, I showed you the slides that we took at the Oak of Mamre.

It's all trees still there, still alive.

They don't look very healthy.
