NXT Heatwave

There's no fight.

And what's he done recently? You know, I beat him at Heat Wave.

That was easy.

He got beat by Mason Rourke.

Because he would have known going out there what the point was.

You betrayed me at NXT Heat Wave, despite the fact everyone said I was going to be the one to betray you.

Then you apologized and stabbed me in the back.

And I try and end my career effectively.

Great American Bash is, like, a two-week event for them.

Heatwave was one day, though, wasn't it? I think Heatwave was one.

Oh, Heatwave-

Oh, that was, hang on.

That was a PLE, never mind.

Or that was a-

Heatwave was a PLE, yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah, I think that'd be pretty neat.

Um, Lehu here says, "There's nothing the Royal Rumble can do to steal the buzz from AEW Dynasty." Um, look, man, this ain't some NXT Heatwave.

[laughs]

This is the Royal Rumble, pal.

What a way to kick off Sunday, NXT Heatwave, immediately following Hola De Calor.

[footsteps thudding]

I like how Nathan-

This is Club WWE.

[phone ringing] [tense music] [crowd cheering] [upbeat music]

Just a reminder, when Hola De Calor comes to an end, do not miss a second of NXT Heatwave, which will witness a fatal four-way match to crown the NXT champion.

The night closes out with Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano as the two make their TripleManía Night 2 main event official with a contract signing.

It's Hola De Calor, Sunday, August 30th, at a special start time of noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific, immediately followed by NXT Heatwave.

We've gotten word that our general manager has another announcement for Hola De Calor following tonight's events.

[logo whooshing]

And again, the official, but again, there's no quit in Wes Lee, who maybe has become overly obsessed with the North American Championship, which is something that the champion suggested on Tuesday.

And this is just the start of NXT Heatwave.

I don't really know how much is behind those punches.

I mean, Booker, another backbreaker to Wes Lee, and Lee now-

I mean, i- it's time.

Time is ticking, Vic.

What a way to kick off NXT Heatwave.

NXT's North American Championship is on the line, the first of five championship matches here tonight to cap off Money in the Bank weekend in Toronto.
