So I visited Japan for the first time in, I think it was 96 or early 97.

And I encountered NTT Docomo's mobile phones, which were amazing pieces of equipment.

And on this phone, you could essentially... do many of the things that we now think are cutting edge with regard to the internet in the United States.

So Japan arguably was at the forefront of the next generation mobile telecommunications, data, information technology, even now the internet transformation.

It was the largest IPO in history at that time.

Then 1998, NTT DoCoMo, more than $18 billion raised.

Once again, the largest IPO in history at that time.

But nowadays people just use like their Gmail or their line or whatever other email carrier people don't normally.

I assume that, like, maybe Docomo, you still might be able to get an email through Docomo, but, like, people don't normally use that for their daily communications.

That's just, you know, it is there.

You use your Gmail or whatever.

I'm thinking of SoftBank and Sprint.

AT&T had an agreement with Docomo just about a million years ago.

I'm sure there are other ones.
