Run over to Houston to the NRG Center where you're going to find custom imports, lowered vehicles, and creative automotive builds that take center stage at Slammed Enough Texas.

The event's scheduled for Hall E at the NRG Center with an afternoon and evening showcase.

That's a quick look at what's happening this weekend around the area.

A little bit later, we're going to hit what's going on a little bit further down the road, a little bit later in the calendar.

Uh, back in those days, there was a thing called Stadium Drive that came from the north side of the property that's now Reliant Park, and it ran along the outfield wall of Colt Stadium.

Today, that would go through Reliant Center, uh, which is where the marker, the historical marker's gonna be, that we'll talk about in a second.

But it stayed there.

Colt Stadium stayed there for several years.

Um, and then a part of keeping this story alive or bringing it to the attention of future generations as well is this historical marker.

First, uh, where is it going to be placed?

The marker is gonna be right in the, the west end of Reliant Center, so north of both the Astrodome and north of Reliant Stadium.

Um, there's, at that west entrance to Reliant Center, there's a little plaza with some trees that are out there.

Then we're gonna buzz out to October the 17th, Monster Jam is coming into Houston.

You know, if you want something that's l- got a lot bigger tires, Monster Jam rolls into Houston's Reliant Center on October the 17th.

Pit party begins at 2:30 PM, gates open at 5:30, and the main event starts at 7:00.

Got lots of 12,000 pound Monster Jam trucks competing in the big air two-wheel and freestyle action.
