podcast episodes don't come out as frequently as they used to but the um the social media aspect of the raven drool stuff is still pretty daily so i still try to to keep it alive as much as i can and celebrate releases and you know and just kind of you know bring attention to bands and because i'm still discovering stuff which is wild i mean i've you know you know i'm still discovering bands i'm like holy smokes how did i miss this one and how did i miss that one and it's like

Honestly, when I see every time you post a one-page screen cap of Now Magazine, of concert listings from let's call it 1996, My favorite part is reading all the comments of people who are in these bands, some of which we've heard of, some of which we haven't.

But it's also a great way to unlock additional information because all of a sudden you're getting memories of these venues that are long gone.

Oh, all of a sudden we have some new insights on like the ultrasound show bar or, you know, kind of the horseshoe or... you know, the Rivoli or, you know, the Generator in Toronto or Big Bop, all these places that are long gone, but all of a sudden it's like, oh, here's a little insight about what the green room was like or the fact that, you know, they didn't pay very well or the doorman was a complete a-hole.

on young streets and the record man uh it was great we had like a lot of people used to work at these stores uh just showed up so a lot of former cashiers at sam's and hmv and they shared their stories and uh yeah so we're gonna try the same thing with much music in september uh again it just you know there's been a lot much nostalgia i think recently because of the documentary and uh you know christopher ward put out a book bill wilichka put out a book i know erica m She'll be putting out her memoirs pretty soon.
