Novena

And also with me, Alvin Lin, the owner of Celine's Gelato, which sits in front of Construction Holdings in the Novena area.

Okay, welcome, gentlemen.

So it's about 22 kilometer.

So along this 22 kilometer, it started from a very soft ground, which is, we call it soft marine clay, in the southern area, which is where the F1 is.

And it slowly travels into the central part, which is the Novena area, where you encounter very hard rock.

And when you go further north, it's also, again, it's a very hard rock condition that they're encountering.

So we'll talk about that after 9 o'clock.

But in the meantime, if you've ever driven past the Newton, Novena, Upper Thompson area for the past eight years at least, you'd probably be wondering, when is this construction going to end? Yeah, it's like never ending.

Okay, bad news.

It's going to be slightly delayed.

Now that's the 8.8 kilometre elevated stretch.

And that part is still on track to open next year.

But everything south of Lentor Avenue, Bishan, Topaya, Novena, Rocha, ECP, which goes underground into the tunnel, is a section that's delayed till 2029.

So there'll still be works going on.

And then in 2018, so it was, actually it was very good run.

It was located at Novena.

And you'd be surprised because Novena had hospitals, then Procter & Gamble, then CPF, they're all down there.

And everybody came to eat, you know.

I think the food is not bad.
