Nova

Every so often I see someone tweeting about reading Champions for the first time, that, that he was in, and I just miss his character, so it'll be really cool to see him back.

Um, and let's see if, uh, if, uh, Richard Rider is also in this as well, since he, his book got fucking canceled, even though it was actually cooking.

Damn.

Damn.Brutal, man.

They have ideas, but of course that's confirmed.

And then Nova, Nova was originally confirmed to be a show, but now Kevin Feige, not too long ago, confirmed it to be a movie.

So, Nova is coming.

We believe it's Richard Rider Nova that is coming, and I think that's just going to be great to take us into the cosmic side of the MCU.

He might even go on to form a new Guardians of the Galaxy team.

Who knows? We'll have to wait and see.

My guess is Deadpool 4, Spider-Man 5.

No, I'm sorry.

Nova.

Oh, yeah.

Richard Rider.

We feel like, uh...

We know, um, Michael Waldron's working on a Nova movie.

And this is where I'm putting on my own personal fan hat in terms of the comics, and I can't help but think they were going this way.

But to introduce Xandar and the Nova Corps in the first movie, and then to still at this point not give us the character Nova, like Richard Rider, who's one of my very, if not my top favorite Marvel character, and we're still waiting for him to be introduced.

It's like, come on.

missed opportunity how

I mean, you're just missing Nova.

Yeah, I feel like, you know, which we're getting

a Richard Rider movie in 2027.

So

there it is.

see.

Richard Ryder versus Larfleeze.

Larfleeze.

Going Larfleeze on this one.

For one, they should have done a Nova movie a long time ago.

Nova, essentially the Green Lanterns of Marvel.

It's kind of late in the game to do it now, other than since Xandar was destroyed, you can say that Richard Rider would be the last Nova, right? So you could do that.

And that's why it sucks that they...

They could have done Annihilus as the next big bad, and that would have been fucking awesome.

He never resonated with me.

I always preferred Richard Rider, but I understand why they went younger when they did.

Using the Ten Rings seems interesting as well.

It's like they're mashing up two different aspects, concepts in the Marvel Universe with Cosmic Nova and a little bit of the supernatural slash Iron Man vibe with the Ten Rings.

Um, JetX with a five spot.

Annihilation gave Richard Rider Nova infinite amounts of aura and as such will forever be my favorite Marvel event maybe ever.

Hell yeah.

That's awesome.

So does that mean other plans were cosmic?

I think the other plans were midnight.

I mean, we know MCU Nova is coming, right? So I got to imagine...

I got to imagine there's some plans there for a comic down the line, but it might just be Nova.

And what's really interesting about this is Kevin Feige said that he spoke with Ryan Gosling about joining the MCU for a while.

Nova.

He could have played Nova.

We'll talk about Nova in a bit.

But he actually ended up coming to Kevin Feige with Sean Levy, who he just did the Star Wars movie with, the new Star Wars movie that's coming out, Starfighter.

And, of course, Sean Levy directed Deadpool and Wolverine, so he's worked with Marvel before.

So I think that would open up for really good stories.

And if that would be an Illuminati story, I think that would be a team up story.
