How can I do this really quickly? Uh, Robert Allbritton, the, uh, publisher of Politico, sold Politico obviously to Axel Springer, launched Notice, N-O-T-U-S, and he wanted to rebrand it as The Washington Star, which his, uh, his father was once the publisher of.

Uh, lo and behold, uh, Dover Defoon, who owns the New York Sun, had the rights to the, The Washington Star.

Have you lost me yet? I've lost myself.

And would not give them up, and therefore, Robert Allbritton instead had to rebrand Notice to The Washington Sun.

So now there is a Washington Sun that sh- is not owned by the same guy who owns The New York Sun, nor is it owned by the guy who owns The Washington Star, nor is it owned by a different guy who owns The Baltimore Sun.

Anyway, Washington Star, uh, sorry, Washington Sun is n- the new name of Notice, and it, it is being mounted almost, it seems, to fill the void left over by The Washington Post when The Washington Post decided to get out of local journalism, to get out of sports journalism.

And so it will-- It, its sort of mantra is that it is covering both political Washington and local Washington.

Wednesday as a, um, kind of rebrand of-

Yeah, 'cause if you know Notus, News of the United States, like a nonprofit, uh, you know, like liberal, center-left outlet-

... uh, to try something new.

This former, uh, Washington Post, um, editor who's there described the new publication Wednesday as an experiment in whether a general interest outlet combining national and local coverage can thrive in the digital era.

Um, he goes on to say, quote, "The Sun's success is by no means assured." And I'm like, well, that is, that's-

So he writes this op-ed in The Wall Street Journal, and in fact, it started getting flagged on social media.

It's like, "Hmm, this sounds a little bit like it might be AI-written." And so the media outlet Notus, N-O-T-U-S, asked Druckenmiller whether he had used AI to write the article.

Druckenmiller said, "Of course I used AI." He added he now writes everything with AI for the same reason he uses a calculator to do math.

The admission of this came the day after the piece was published.

And here's the lead, and you might want to contrast this with what you looked up, which was AI.

Well, I'm on a site now, and I don't know this site, called Notus, N-O-T-U-S dot org.

I don't know it either.

Naturally, the deal has alarmed conservationists and National Park Service officials who say that the crown jewel of the national park system should be off limits to development.

Now, the proposal, which was first reported on by the news outlet NOTUS, News of the US, uh, calls for transferring a small parcel just inside the western boundary of Yosemite National Park to a company controlled by Kingsbarn Realty Capital.

That's a private, uh, private equity firm focusing on real estate.

Kingsbarn wants to build a road and develop two 40-ace- acre parcels that it owns near the park.

Uh, I wanna get to, uh, I wanna get to a press re- release and a column I did the other day.

I got picked up by a couple of outlets, uh, NOTUS being one, and the Washington Examiner being another one, whereas Ward 2 chairman elected official here, I called for Uh, I called for the new Commander Stadium, whatever you wanna call it, the Washington Football Stadium, $1 billion of taxpayer money, and average families that l- live in W- Ward Seven and Eight, Six, Five, across the wards, they got two kids.

They're l- they, they pay $1 billion in taxes for this stadium-

Um, Jeff, I wanna get into the story you broke yesterday, uh, about, uh, Scott Bessent's mentor kinda put a shot across his bow on his theory of all tools in the toolbox to kinda work the national debt and to kinda keep, uh, the, uh, the cost of that to the treasury as low as possible.

Uh, Stanley- A drunken Miller didn't appreciate that you broke the story that he wrote it with [laughs] artificial intelligence, of which he admitted, and The Wall Street Journal printed it.
