And then step by step, like I really felt divinely led, spirit led through the different weavings of my education, my training, where I felt called to live at times, because they were all pieces of the mosaic that was going to create the life that I live now.

And so living in Costa Rica as a base, I met my husband in yoga teacher training 22 years ago in Nosara, Costa Rica.

And I fell in love with the country before I fell in love with him.

There was a sense of this deep, deep connection to the energy there.

Kind of bringing this year to a close down there.

They're on a different calendar than we are.

Yeah, I mean, maybe you could create something that's like, you know, is there mold here or something in this hotel.

And I actually, because where we went, which is Nosara, Costa Rica, it's actually very, very popular right now, and this was a brand-new, very nice hotel right next to the beach.

In fact, we had some friends from Austin, we didn't end up seeing them 'cause we didn't know, that were there at the same time.

So it's very popular.

Where do those take place?

In Nosara, Costa Rica.

What do you see in Costa Rica when it comes to community and aging well? 'Cause I know you're well-versed in, you know, what the population does where we live, uh, but is that something that's focused on differently in a community like them?

So the importance of community is huge in terms of aging well and longevity, and you see this in the Nosara region.

Um, there's just layers and layers.

Everybody seems to be related to each other.

So we run a class at USC, it's called a Maymester class, so it's done, uh, at bridging between, uh, the end of the, the, uh, spring semester and then the beginning of summer semester.

It's an intensive three-week class.

We do a week of instruction about the biology, the sociology, the politics, the laws of Costa Rica, and then we do two weeks of immersion into the Nosara region of the Nicoya Peninsula.

Uh, the cour- the course name is, is Finding a Long and Happy Life in Costa Rica, and, uh, and there's a lot of free time.

He's been in the industry for over two decades and lives in the Southern Pacific area between Dominicao and Evita.

So today, we're going to be getting it up from him about what's happening in real estate, as well as a little bit of focus on what seems to be developing as wellness real estate seems to be coming out quite a bit at the moment, especially in that southern zone and the areas of Nosara.

So we're just going to see is like, what's his opinion on that? Does he think it's a fad? Does he think it's here to stay? And also what buyers are looking for as well.
