Of course, we're talking about Caden Belobagovic, and we'll get to know a little bit about their friendship and how long they have known each other for.

We've got the NOJHL notebook checking what's happening in the league from the weekend, including the three stars of the week, some games to look at ahead, and much more.

How very impressive in that, and Jack Hauke posted the loss in goals.

So the Jacks are two wins and three losses through five games.

In the NOJHL season, they have four points, and they're tied for, what, fourth place in the league right now.

The Sioux Thunderbirds lead the way with eight points, followed by the Blind River Beavers at six.

He ended up going third overall, but was refusing to come on down to the GTA area.

He's from up north and wanted to play for the Sudbury Wolves, so he signed in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, and I believe with Timmons.

He was basically holding out, and Sudbury stepped up with 15 draft

Adams was basically always going there.

Um, it, it's interesting to see now that we have the NCAA options being open for the, the, um- CHL kids, it wasn't like Tanner Adams was like, "Well, I'm gonna go play for the Chicago Steel," or, "I'm gonna go play for the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the USHL." He was talking about playing for the NOJHL team.

So it's- it, that's an interesting little wrinkle in there that w- now that we have the CHL rule that's been changed with the NCAA eligibility.

But this is a kid, like Ryan said, big, strong, really good goal scorer.

So the rebuild is still on track to be, uh, pretty, pretty okay in Brampton.

Yeah, I guess that's a silver lining for them.

The draft went well, and then also it, it just seems like it wasn't really anything about Brampton, it just feels like Adam- Adams was always gonna go back to Northern Ontario in some capacity, whether, like you said, that was in the NOJ- uh, NOJHL or the, uh, Sudbury Wolves.

So anyways, speaking of the OHL, the CHL is opening up this week.

Yeah.

I remember, one thing that was really cool too is I remember a team in the NOJHL came down and played in the EHL showcase.

Mm-hmm.

And that was always a big battle too between, you know, the N- the NO and the EHL and everything.

Brought them down that year.

Yeah.

Well, the NOJHL came down and won all three games, right? And they were supposed to win, right? They're a Tier 2 Junior A.

They were supposed to win, right? And a lot of people would say, "Oh no, like that's not, you know, uh, the EHL is better," or some of the Tier 3 down here are better or whatever, but they backed it up, right? They came down here.

Here's a new shot, they score! The Jags are even! Set off a skate in front, right in front! Great save, they score! Matthew Como! And Hurst has the lead!

The Mississauga, Ontario native appeared in 85 games during that time, posting 34 points, consisting equally of 17 goals and 17 assists.

Before college, Ng played with the French River Rapids and Espanola Express of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, as well as the St. Catharines Falcons of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Across 93 games in the NOJHL, he recorded 54 points, consisting of 20 goals and 34 assists.

A home exhibition game will be played on October 9th against Pensacola.
