Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division

next up Northern Premier League East Division we have Dunstan and West Auckland Town.

I'm going to go for a surprise result here and I think I'm going to back West Auckland to win 2-1.

I'm going a bit rogue because Dunstan are at home and they're a pretty good side at home however I think West Auckland might surprise them.

A couple of seasons ago, they were in the National League North.

Last season, they should have been in the Northern Counties East League.

But their application was...

Close to the centre of the town, Shore Lane Aquaforce have big ambitions with a newly built 200-seat stand in a ground that holds 2,000.

Named after local plumbing company Aquaforce, run by club owner Craig Wood, they joined the Northern Counties East in 2013-14 and had a fine run to the FA Vars quarterfinal last season.

They won promotion to the Northern Premier League 1 South for 2015-16 by topping their division with 130 goals scored and only four league defeats.

And I do remember them because normally in the FA Vars, when Northern League teams drew teams from the northern counties east, you thought, oh, they'll beat them easily because they always did.

And then Shore Lane Aquiforce turned up and they just battered everyone in the Northern League.

And it was like, and then a few years ago, I thought, why ever happened to that shoreline aqua force? And they folded in 2018.
