Northbridge Bulls FC

Let's break this down and pick it apart from go to woe.

M, it was Bulls FC Academy.

The scoreboard reads 4-2 penalties, 1-1 after extra time.

But that does not tell the story of the game.

Gemma Ferris, Olivia van der Laan, Sarah Hunter.

Then it was Poppy Channing and Demi Koulisakis for UNSW.

And then Petria Phillips with the match winner to make it 4-2 for Bulls FC Academy.

Marty Garces and the team go back to back.

So back-to-back doubles.

for Bulls FC Academy, whilst in the under-23s, the Western Sydney Wanderers defeated the Illawarra Stingrays, also on penalties.

The Stingrays did not necessarily go home empty-handed as they had claimed the premiership for the season.

You know, a massive run for the Stingrays, but unfortunately they weren't able to find a way past the Western Sydney Wanderers.

So, you know, a well-deserved performance by Ashley Hughes being awarded Player of the Match.

Just before we move on to the Western Sydney Wanderers versus the Illawarra Stingrays in the under-23s, I did post about this on the Dubcast socials earlier this week.

Um, but following the grand final win MacArthur FC, uh, which is the parent club of Bulls FC Academy.

It's a very complicated, well, it's not complicated, but you know, the ownership structure is what it is.

We'll quickly touch on the results from last week.

It was Bulls FC Academy 6, Western Sydney Wanderers 2, And University of New South Wales, three.

Arpia Leichhardt, one.

Firstly, Sam, what did you make of the results on Sunday? Over the weekend, I should say.

I think UNSW have obviously had a really fortunate season in that they've been able to keep their team together for most of the games.

And I think, again, just having that experience and whatnot playing together showed on the weekend.

As for the Bulls-Wanderers game, look, you can tell that the Bulls had done their homework and they knew what to do and they were able to exploit the areas that they needed to and were able to put some good goals away.

So, no, it was two entertaining games.
