Lincoln North Star High School

It's fair.

And, and they both looked good against Portland State because I would make Portland State a 17-point underdog to Lincoln North Star.

Yeah.

But in any case, um-

I mean, like, a guy I, I really enjoy right now is, is Zay Bolen, um, at, at, at Lincoln Southeast, um, the, the, the corner prospect.

And so I got, I, I went to go see him last weekend, uh, against, uh, Lincoln North Star, and that's how I was like, "Okay, these two teams relatively even matched.

Let's just see what this looks like." I know, I know North Star's got some good athletes in the, in the wide receiver room.

Um, I know they've, I know both, both sides have some good athletes.

I meant to say, what is the, uh, the game of the week options this week? We, uh-

Well, we've got, we've got four options of Thursday night with Lincoln Northeast, Lincoln North Star, and then Friday, East Butler at, at Shelby Rising City.

Yeah.

That's the top match-up-

I think I felt a little bit better about where they stood across the entire state.

But then when Lincoln North Star welcomes Elkhorn North and gets shut out at home in a game that wasn't very competitive, That didn't look very good in terms of where the capital city stands across the state.

And then similarly, Lincoln Southeast goes to Creighton Prep.

They played them tough, but they just kind of ran out of gas.

That's something we've talked about, I know, before when we've had you on the show as well.

How have you sifted through your thoughts and feelings of – where the capital city and kind of your coverage area sits in terms of each of their respective classes.

It feels like Class A Lincoln North Stars got that big matchup with Papillion the Vista South, I believe, next week.

And then, of course, with the big matchup with B versus C1, are you still feeling confident about some of the teams, or has that changed a little bit as the season progressed?

We don't know quite yet.

It could be Lincoln North Star, who's 4-0 and has a massive game tonight against Elkhorn North.

Or it could still be Southwest or Southeast.

You just don't know where it's at.

I feel like we all have some phone numbers we could hit up.

Hey, I'm going to say it again.

Don't sleep on this Lincoln North Star-Elkhorn North game tonight.

I think that one could be good.

Yeah, sure, fine.

I want to highlight Lincoln North Star.

Yes.

35-24 win over Omaha West for you to improve to 4-0 for the first time ever.

All right, before we let you go, we do need to tell you Mike Sautter's Game of the Week options that you can vote on at nebpreps.com. You can also find it on Mike's and the NEB Preps social pages.

So those voting options for you this week to send Mike would be Gothenburg at Ord.

We also have Omaha North at Millard South, Elkhorn North at Lincoln North Star, and Lakeview at Pierce, I believe.
