North Central Conference

exhibition monday night in grand island i imagine it'll be a packed house for an exhibition speaking of basketball too i do got to mention um we were out in oregon friday night and we had dinner at kennedy's steakhouse oh yeah yeah yeah and we sat next to just coincidentally a group from omaha with former creighton basketball coach and player and former uno head coach kevin mckenna

kevin mckenna a bit of a legend you know played on the 82 lakers NBA championship team with Magic, coached, I'm going to say two North Central Conference title teams at UNO.

lieutenant.

It was straight up I-29.

We were in a really different spot back then.

You know, we were playing in the North Central Conference, NCAA Division II.

I do think, obviously, this move to NAIA and the GPAC and all of that has been just such a great move for the university.

But, yeah, it was – I would say that first year was – how do I phrase this? It's like the experience was super valuable.
