North Carolina Tar Heels baseball

They...

You know, North Carolina kept leaving, fill in the blank, the freshman superstar.

Oh, Glauber.

Uh, Glauber in the pen until when? Game three of the Super

I, I...

We appreciate what you guys have done for Carolina baseball.

I think the coverage that Inside Carolina has brought to our program has been phenomenal.

Um, you know, ri- uh, r- uh, rising tide lifts all boats type, type mindset, and the fact that what you guys are doing, um, is really making it better for our entire program.

Not just Carolina, NC State as well, but everything you guys are doing, um, to move the program even further forward i- in light of the era of college athletics that's, quite frankly, become an arms race.

Yeah, it's a great question.

I mean, I, I, I think the biggest thing is, you know, Carolina athletics, Carolina baseball is, you know, I'll, I'll use the term, like, more open for business than ever before.

Um, a- and I think how that resonates with, with fans and donors and supporters and is if, if there's a way that you want to interact with Carolina baseball, like, we have something available for you, right? Obviously everyone knows about the, the Dugout, the Dugout Club and, and the Excellence Fund and the Diamond Heels Club.

But there is this again, maybe it's just the fans have this.

But there's just like this mental stigma where they're just struggling to get over the hump, like, you know, win the national title like North Carolina just misses even Wake Forest in 2023.

I mean, I get it that LSU had schemes and crews and all those dudes, but man, that Wake Forest team.

Like, if you're Tom Walter in 2023, if you're James Ramsey last year, you're thinking, man, we just rostered all-time teams.

Welcome in to another edition of This Week in UNC Baseball.

I'm Tommy Ashley.

That's Spencer Haskell in the middle, which I'm about to switch those pictures and put Coach Gaines in the middle.
