North Bay Battalion

I like that.

[upbeat music] So now jumping to the mask design side, um, what were some of your North Bay Battalion masks? If you have-

Okay, I'll bring both, I'll bring both over.

So again, so sticking to that theme of light mask, dark mask, so my first year, I never realized North Bay had such a rich, like, history, and it really is a, a military base, like, or military town.

I'm listening for it.

Okay, to North Bay in the eastern side of this wraparound, and the Battalion started the season with two wins in their first three games, but have now lost four in a row.

That included an 0 and 3 weekend swing through southwestern Ontario, and they lost to Windsor, London, and Brantford by a combined score of 13 to 6.

I fully expect the Battalion will get this sorted.

It's early, plenty early, uh, but just something to keep an eye on.

And a note about Head Coach Ryan Houle who will be behind the bench for Team CHL at this year's CHL USA Prospects Challenge.

... like a lot or like-

Yeah

Jeffy, go ahead with your, uh, your stats or your milestones here for the OHL.

Going back on September 24th, um, Gino Carcone of the Brampton Steelheads gets his first career OHL goal versus the North Bay Battalion.

September 25th, um, Chicago Blackhawks prosp- uh, Ryan Rubrik gets his 100th career OHL goal versus the Oshawa Generals.

Cash Quasia of the Sudbury Wolves gets his first career OHL goal versus the Barrie Colts.

Ryan He- Hedley of the Oshawa Generals gets his first career OHL goal versus the Branford Bulldogs.

On October 1st, Mason Johnston of the Peterborough Petes gets his first career OHL shutout versus Erie.

And then as of t- and then September, I mean, October 2nd, um, Marcus Nomark of the London Knights gets his first career OHL goal versus North Bay Battalion.

Chicago Black Hawks prospect Ryan Rubrik of the Guelph Storm gets his 200th career OHL point versus the Windsor Spitfire.

But six feet, he can stretch from one side to the other.

The North Bay Battalion finished off their three games in three days, losing yesterday 6-3 to Brantford.

How about the Bulldogs? They are now 7-0, survived a little bit of a scare, beat Brampton on Friday night in overtime.

But this is one of the most unexpected things that we have seen in the Ontario Hockey League this year.

[upbeat music] Welcome to the Libro Credit Union All Knights Podcast with Mike Stubbs.

Welcome to the pregame show for the London Knights and the North Bay Battalion, made possible by Libro Credit Union.

My name is Mike Stubbs.

The Knights off to a 3 and 0 start on the year, and now they play a couple of home games this weekend.

We had a great conversation with him, and that is available.

Just search for All Knights or take a look wherever you get your shows.

If we're gonna break down the North Bay Battalion, they are coming off a loss to the Windsor Spitfires, a close one in Windsor to begin three games in three nights: Windsor, London, Brantford.

And they've been staying in London.

Thanks to Libro Credit Union for making all of this possible.

The London Knights and the North Bay Battalion.

The London Knights and the Flint Firebirds as the 26-27 season continues.

Keeps on keeping on.

Are we already there? We are already there.

It will be October the 2nd that the London Knights and the North Bay Battalion hook up at Canada Life Place.

Check out tickets and ticket information at LondonKnights.com. We are going to hear from Tyler Nutter, a former London Knight, a Memorial Cup champion, but he didn't win the Memorial Cup with the Knights, and now one of the part owners, the Governor, and the general manager of the Owen Sound Attack.

The road taking Tyler to where he is now is fascinating, and he'll talk about all of it.

Okay, I'll go third.

Third here, I'm going to go with the North Bay Battalion.

I mean, this is a roster I really like.

I really like their forwards.

He could get physical if he wants to, right? And he's not shy of it, that's for sure.

His brother, Liram, is not shy of it in the North Bay Battalion.

We just saw him.

It was pretty cool that they played against each other, right? Yep.

That's my number one star.

I thought he played really hard all weekend long.

I mean, he had the only goal against the North Bay Battalion in a loss, unfortunately, on Friday night.

He played really hard.
