So what I find interesting there is they say, "In Osterland, especially along the coast of Nordland." Um, so this might be just my, uh, my, my own ignorance, but I thought that Nordland was part of Westerland.

Uh, despite its initial successes, the campaigning host soon found its advance slowed.

Norscan mention their resolve seemingly shattered, but their courage soon returned, and the defenders of Westerlyn quickly found themselves battling not just barbarous marauders, but also twisted beastmen and worse that emerged from the dark forests.

I think that's a pretty damn good one, actually.

So it looks like we're going to go with Norsca as option number one, and that would give us an opportunity to dive into what it might be like to have one of the Norse holds taking into account all of their background rather than Games Workshop's view of the Norse, which tends to be whoever's writing it that day write something ignoring a good chunk of the existing lore that lies around it.

We'll be able to pull everything in and say, this is what a Norse hold could look like.

I will say the Mountains of Morn, if you're looking at a scale from what has the most amount of pre-established material to the least, it would be like Norsca.

Obviously, there's a lot there.

But if you dedicate yourself to the Chaos Gods alone, then you are effectively saying, fuck you to the other gods.

So you tend to find that it's not normally possible that if you were, say for example, someone that was a Norscan raider that was strongly associated with Manan, and you decided to, along with the rest of your local group, I don't know, your pals to go and join one of the great spring drivings down into Norske under the banners of chaos.

Yeah, you could do that.

But in so doing, and if you join up with and start worshipping that particular god that's important to them or gods you're basically saying fuck you to manan and manan is likely to say fuck you in return should you ever try to take to the seas but remember in warhammer the gods are real and they do bring retribution to those who turn their backs on them and that's both on the chaos god sides and the other gods don't piss off manan he's really fucking mercurial which is funny manan mercurial from Mercury.

We've then got Barakvar, which is the only port of the main Karazhan core.

Obviously, there are some up there with the Norscan dwarves, but we're focusing on the main dwarves.
