Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy

I think it's, it's good to see me old mate.

I was with him down at the Legends Dinner, um, uh, last week, uh, for, for the charity Nordoff Robbins, and, uh, and Thierry Henry and Carra Kane got, uh, won the, won the, uh, won the prizes.

And I sat with him, uh, all evening chatting, chatting away, which made it a great evening as always, like, I mean.

I think he talked more than me, but he's-

He's also doing a giveaway with All on the Board for a signed board that was displayed.

And the proceeds from the fundraiser raffle will be going to the music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins.

He went to the Ryder Cup Gala and he did a Q&A there.

And Niall also posted supporting the new Blossoms album.

It's because that category is the one that we are naming as our Recording of the Year.

It's the Instrumental Award, which is sponsored by the charity Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy.

It has gone to Jean Rondeau's extraordinary survey of the music of Louis Couperin.

So, it was a fantastic evening.

30 years of raising money for Nordoff Robbins, uh, Cancer.

Um, and obviously very emotional, um, with the, with the showing of, uh, what it does for, for youngsters with disability who c- can't communicate any other way.

And what an absolute, uh, an absolute de- delight it was to, uh, be there again.

I was, I was so pleased with how many turned up, you know, to, uh, support the evening, of course, which is, which is why, why, why we all go and what, why we get entertained on the night at the Grosvenor House Hotel brilliantly.

Uh, it's, it's 1,500 in there, and all the service is good, and the entertainment's good.

And then obviously they've, they've raised a lot of money again for Nordoff Robbins, the musical charity.

But yeah, great.

Iron Maiden, the Heavy Metal Truants.

Uh, it's a cycling group that raises funds for, uh, Teenage Cancer Trust, Nordoff Robbins, and Childline.

Incubus has the Make Yourself Foundation.

Linkin Park had Music for Relief.

like I never used to be but I really am now and like I do look back at my journey and I'm like, yeah, there was loads of hard work, but there was also lots of really nice opportunities or moments created.

And I was in PR for nine years and then one of my clients, DF Concerts, biggest music promoter in Scotland, sent this funny email that was addressed to me at DF concerts and did a joke of like haha not really meant and then I was hired which was really funny because I did like a four month stint as a freelancer and worked with people like the Red Hot Chili Pipers and like Nordoff Robbins and stuff and I was like hang on a minute I can get up

in the middle of the night and

work And it's probably planted the seed, actually, for what came all those years later.
