So we're here talking about safety, uh, s- particularly the Nordegg to Abraham Lake area where we get lots of visitors.

Uh, what are the some of the most common things that Rocky Mountain House Search and Rescue gets called out for?

So on the lake, we get called out for overdue boaters or people get caught on the far side of the lake 'cause the wind came up.

Okay.

And we know how good cell phone coverage is out there, so if somebody even knows what's going on or sees somebody that needs help, they have to get back to where cell phone coverage is to even make the contact with anybody.

Yeah, basically anything west of Nordegg, you're kind of hoping for cell phone coverage out there.

There's a few spots, but unless you know where they are, it can be a long drive or hike out to, to get cell phone coverage.

Bluff Creek, Mount St. Helens, Blue Mountain, Nordegg, Alberta, Mount Hood, Harrison Hot Springs, BC Olympics, Ho Rainforest, Gifford Pinchot, Vancouver Island.

I mean, there's some freaky, freaky places and you're out there by yourself for the most part, right?

If there's anything else that that can be, and I've heard strange noises in Nordegg and, you know, trees coming down in Harrison Lake that I wasn't able to record or like a couple other times, just stuff like that, that I think like some Sasquatch diehards would be like, Sasquatch, that was Sasquatch, Mike, you're an idiot.

But for me, but for me, the one time where I, where it's now been however much time it's been since I uploaded the video and since I experienced this for myself, nobody has had an explanation as to what this was, including myself.
